Weston

Fall Folliage on the Weston Town Green

Weston is the westernmost town in Windsor County and home not only to Mary Mitchell Miller Real Estate, but the Vermont Country Store, the Weston Village Store, the Weston Playhouse Theater Company and numerous small shops, galleries and museums.

There are 251 towns in Vermont and Weston is ranked #227 in population and #178 in area, so it can quite fairly be described as one of Vermont's most charming small towns. The town is anchored by the beautiful village green with it's quintessentially perfect bandstand, majestic maple trees and benches and lawn area to sit, relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Weston resident enjoy the same "amenities" as residents of Londonderry, Landgrove and Peru. School children attend the Flood Brook School for Kindergarten through eighth grades and have a choice for secondary education. A majority of high school students attend Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester, but Vermont's "school choice" option allows students to attend other secondary schools of their choice and some attend Green Mountain Union High School in Chester, the Long Trail School in Dorset or a number of other public and/or private schools throughout the area.

In addition to numerous small shops, Weston is also home to:

  • Weston Playhouse
  • Farrar Mansur House and the Old Mill Museums
  • Weston Priory
  • Wilder Library
  • Kinhaven Music School
